Maintained by Newark Town Council and housed in Newark Town Hall. As well as the temporary exhibition space of the Spotlight, a selection of work from town council's permanent collection is on display in the museum and in the Civic Rooms (which can be toured on request). These include works by Stanley Spencer and William Dobson, and local artists such as W.H. Cubley, William Nicholson and Robert Kiddey.

Enter the town hall from the market place, go up the stairs and take the lift on the right up to the second floor.

Open  Mon to Sat, 10-30am - 3-30pm. Closed Bank Holidays.
